How to Wake Up Easily?

Waking up early is a good thing for our health, so here are a few tips on how to wake up being enthusiastic and full of energy.

Try not to watch TV or work in front of the computer after 8 p.m.

Blue light that comes from of our favorite electronic devices lowers the level of melatonin in our body, which regulates our sleeping and day rhythms. In addition, you receive additional impressions that keep you from sleeping and keep your brain busy.

Try not to eat for at least 3 hours before bedtime.

If you do that, your body will not be busy with digesting food while you are asleep, you will feel more rested and will wake up feeling a little hungry, which might be another stimulus for you in the morning.

Get fresh air.

Not only do you need to spend time outside during the daytime. Try to leave an open window for the night and you will feel so much better! Our body produces a lot of carbon dioxide while sleeping. An open window will give you the oxygen and will make you more rested and ready for the new day.

Put your alarm clock as far as you can.

This simple trick is used by many people who are struggling with early wake ups. Put alarm clock as far as you can, maybe even in the other room (but make sure, that it is loud enough). This way you will have to get up to at least turn it off, and after that – use all your strength not to get cozy again! It is also a good idea to wake up with a nice music, not to give yourself extra stress in the beginning of the day.

Relax in the evening.

With so much stress in a today’s world, sometimes you need to help your body to relax. Read a nice calming book, light an aroma candle, have a warm bath – try to leave all the worries of the day behind and prepare yourself for a good night sleep.


Take it slow.

This tip includes two things. First one – if it is possible, don’t “jump” into early wake-ups. If you are trying to form a new habit, do it step by step. If you woke up at 12 yesterday, it will be hard for you to do it at 6 the next day. Set your alarm clock for half an hour earlier each day and you will easily get used to new rhythms. Another thing – don’t jump out of the bed. Stretch a little, massage your ears and head, do simple exercises while you are still lying in your own bed – this way getting out of it will be much easier.

Motivate yourself.

Figure out why the early wake ups are valuable for you. It can be anything – for example, a new chapter of an interesting book that you left for the next day, unsolved crossword, or an interesting project that you are willing to work on. Right motivation makes miracles here and everywhere else! With it, even the ones who find it impossible to wake up at 11 a.m. will be happy to start their day at 7 in the morning.
